Florida State moves to 9-0

Jameis Winston and the Florida State Seminoles rallied again this past week to beat the Virginia Cavaliers 34-20 at Doak Campbell Stadium, in Tallahassee, FL.

Early in the game, the Seminoles found themselves down 13-7. The 7th game this season in which they have trailed.

Turnovers plagued Winston once again as two of his passes were intercepted by Virginia defenders in the first quarter. This raises his total to 11 on the season, 1 more than all of 2013 combined.

Led by Jameis Winston and Rashad Greene (pictured above), the ‘Noles put up 21 points in the second quarter including a 22-yard strike from Winston to Greene.

Greene would also earn ACC Wide Receiver of the Week honors.

Senior running back Karlos Williams led the ‘Noles ground game totaling 79-yards and two touchdowns.

The Seminoles take on the University of Miami at Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, November 15, primetime at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
